Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Decent Tailor. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Order Acceptance

  • Placing an order confirms that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
  • Orders are confirmed only after all required details, measurements (if applicable), and advance payment are received.

2. Separate Orders

  • If you have multiple garments with different measurements, designs, or alteration requirements, please submit a separate order for each garment to ensure accurate processing.

3. Measurements

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements.
  • We recommend sending an existing well-fitting garment whenever possible for the best fitting.
  • Decent Tailor is not responsible for fitting issues resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the customer.

4. Customer-Supplied Garments & Fabric

  • Garments submitted for alterations should be clean and in wearable condition.
  • Customers are responsible for the quality and suitability of the fabric they provide.
  • Decent Tailor is not responsible for fabric defects, shrinkage, color bleeding, fading, tearing, or other issues caused by the nature or condition of the fabric.

5. Alteration Services

  • Alterations depend on the garment construction and available fabric allowance.
  • Some requested alterations may not be technically possible. We will inform you before proceeding if any requested work cannot be completed.

6. Custom Stitching

  • Every garment is individually handcrafted according to the measurements and design preferences provided by the customer.
  • Slight variations in stitching, embroidery placement, finishing, or appearance may occur due to the handmade nature of the work.

7. Design & Color Disclaimer

  • Reference images are used only as a guide.
  • The final garment may vary slightly due to fabric type, body measurements, tailoring techniques, or material availability.
  • Actual fabric colors may differ slightly from images due to lighting and screen settings.

8. Payment

  • A minimum 50% advance payment is required before work begins unless otherwise agreed.
  • The remaining balance must be paid before dispatch or at the time of collection.
  • Orders may be delayed until payment is received.

9. Order Changes & Cancellation

  • Changes or cancellations are accepted only before production begins.
  • Once stitching or alteration work has started, orders cannot be cancelled or significantly modified.
  • Advance payments for orders already in progress are non-refundable.

10. No Refund Policy

  • All custom stitching, alterations, ready-to-wear saree services, and made-to-order garments are non-refundable once production has started.
  • Refunds will not be provided due to incorrect customer measurements, change of mind, or changes in design preference after confirmation.
  • Refunds may only be considered if Decent Tailor is unable to complete the confirmed order.

11. No Return or Exchange

  • As each garment is customized, completed orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • If a stitching defect is caused by Decent Tailor, we will inspect the garment and provide an appropriate solution.

12. Fitting & Adjustments

  • One complimentary minor fitting adjustment may be provided for stitching-related issues reported within 7 days of delivery or collection.
  • Additional alterations, design changes, or adjustments due to incorrect customer measurements will be charged separately.

13. Delivery & Shipping

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on workload, design complexity, courier services, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Decent Tailor is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies or events beyond our control.
  • Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address and contact details.

14. Inspection

  • Customers should inspect their garments upon delivery or collection.
  • Any stitching-related concerns must be reported within 48 hours.
  • Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

15. Unclaimed Garments

  • Customers should collect completed garments promptly.
  • Garments remaining unclaimed for more than 90 days may be disposed of, donated, or otherwise handled at Decent Tailor's discretion after reasonable attempts to contact the customer.

16. Customer Communication

  • Customers should respond promptly to requests for measurement confirmation, design clarification, or payment.
  • Delayed responses may affect the estimated delivery date.

17. Right to Refuse Service

  • Decent Tailor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order involving inappropriate requests, unsuitable materials, damaged garments, or work that is technically impractical.

18. Pricing

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice until an order is confirmed.
  • Any additional work requested after order confirmation may incur extra charges.

19. Intellectual Property

  • All logos, images, website content, designs, and branding of Decent Tailor are the exclusive property of Decent Tailor and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

20. Privacy

  • Customer information is used only for order processing, communication, delivery, and customer support.
  • Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties except where necessary to complete the order or comply with legal requirements.

21. Limitation of Liability

  • Decent Tailor's liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.

22. Changes to Terms

  • Decent Tailor reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • The latest version published on our website will apply to all new orders.
